This is a deliberate choice as we believe it's important to stay visible in the mountains, even in fog, in case of any problem. This orange color has the advantage of being visible from a helicopter. It's also a visible color on the road if you use your bag when cycling.

Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. At the moment, this product is not eco-designed; however we are working on making it more responsible, particularly through a solution that consumes less water in the dyeing process. Coming soon!

Our Decathlon SportsLab laboratory, based in Lille, also contributes to the innovation and development of our Quechua products. It brings together 4 themes, each with their own area and technological tools: Morphology (especially thanks to the 3D analysis) Movement sciences Thermal comfort (with its 4 climatic chambers) Behavioral and sensory sciences + we describe the specific aspects of the test related to the product (e.g. shower, wind tunnel, etc.)
